BJC Branding has worked with Boston's Run To Remember for nearly two years, and we're happy to know that our work is helping to benefit the brave first responders of Boston and beyond. 

Boston's Run To Remember boasts over 10,000 runners and miles of road closures throughout the city of Boston. An operation like this is no small feat, and it's made possible by hundreds of volunteers donating their time to support the cause. This year, we leveraged Email Marketing to drive volunteer signups, and it was a raving success! 

By focusing on what was in it for the reader (namely a delicious Memorial Day BBQ and some good karma) we framed volunteering as a fun group activity rather than a time commitment. A single photo from last year's event (aka social proof) overlaid with a bright orange "Volunteer" button (call to action) and just a few short lines of text describing the volunteer opportunity helped this email campaign to grow the volunteer base significantly.
